Professional Polishing Services Limited celebrated 40 successful years in business on the 1st July 2023.
The celebrations were held at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham, and current and past members of the team were invited along with their families.
Peter and Pauline Davies, the founders of PPS, were delighted to catch up with everyone and reminisce over the years.
Peter said "It’s almost unbelievable that it’s forty years since we took the leap to start the Company and whilst there have been difficulties along the way through many recessions, the financial crisis and Covid we have come through thanks to our fantastic team led by Kirsty. Though now retired Pauline and I keep a keen interest in the business. We know that PPS has outlived many of the original customers and competitors whilst going from strength to strength. This is due to many things from continued investment in new machinery to ensuring that we try our hardest to give the best product and service to our customers, but it is mainly thanks to our skilled and dedicated team. The years have flown by so quickly but we are going to try hard to be around to celebrate the half century!"
Past members who travelled to celebrate with us included Kay Wilkinson and Piotr Joachimczyk. Piotr and his wife Gosia flew in from Poland for the party and to spend some time catching up with their PPS friends. We were also delighted to be joined by Emma Smith, Director of Empire Resources.
Piotr told us "It was an honor to take part in the 40th anniversary with all of you." Emma said "PPS gave me my foundations in this industry on which I've been able to climb the ladder plus friends I made and am still in contact with 22 years later."
The Guests were entertained by Andy Taylor, a fabulous close-up magician and the room was festive with branded balloon walls by Candy Bubbles.
The event was photographed by Lensi Photography who did a marvelous job of capturing everyone's smiles.
