Surface protection
We are incredibly proud of the finishes we produce, both in terms of quality and aesthetic appeal, ensuring that the surface is always suitably protected after polishing.
Many of the products we polish go on for further processing such as bending, pressing, shearing or laser cutting. To protect your material and our surface finish we have a variety of surface protection products available.
We have spent many years working with our suppliers to ensure we have in stock the grade of protective tape or sleeving that will complement not only the surface finish but any subsequent processing. Please talk to one of our friendly and helpful Sales Team who will be happy to recommend the tape best suited for your order and who will also be able to supply you with copies of spec. sheets giving you the technical data.
The majority of protective tapes are mechanically applied immediately after polishing and transferred to the pallet via a pick and place system.
Long products such as flat bar, square and rectangular tube and square bar are usually poly sleeved but larger dimensions can have protective tape applied at an additional cost.
