Christmas 2007

Professional Polishing Services Ltd has once again donated to our Managing Director’s chosen charity; The Air Ambulance Fund rather than send Christmas cards. Internally Staff also agreed to support The Acorns Hospice by ‘buying a bauble’ rather than buying gifts and cards and managed to raise more money than last year. Again this was then matched by the Directors. We wish you all a Prosperous 2008 and look forward to seeing what fundraising efforts happen in 2008.

The Spirit of Christmas

Instead of buying our colleagues Christmas cards, this year everyone at P.P.S. is buying a ‘bauble’ on a special Christmas Tree poster, prominently displayed in our works.

Each ‘bauble’ on the tree is being bought for £2.50 to display a personal message. Extra donations are happily accepted and the Directors have pledged to match the amount raised by Staff.

Acorns Children’s Hospice

During 2006 Professional Polishing Services Ltd have been pleased to be associated with Acorns Children’s Hospice. Robert Jinks, the Assistant Director of Fundraising for Acorns Children’s Hospice wrote; “On behalf of Acorns Children’s Hospice may I thank you all for the wonderful cheque that I received today as a result of your very kind and valued support for our charity. This really is a tremendous amount of money and will make such a difference to our work. Acorns support over 500 life-limited children and their families who come from across the West Midlands and Three Counties. They give unique care, including end of life care, emergency care and valuable respite care to give families that extra bit of time when they need it most.
